a photograph, but it has something in its heart that feels like your last Vue piece, and even like some of your drawings. The trees are dark but luminous; I love that you caught an amber-golden tree behind the front trees—that amber color makes it feel a little like flame. And the church in the background is both like a ghost and an angel. This is a world seen through many layers; and there's something loving about it. One of your previous photographs (looking out from behind some huge trees) had a similar feeling, only this is darker in front. A fine view of light & dark; and the light shines through.

appears to me like 2 worlds, the church in the background seems so far away compared to the tree, yet it is not. quite a fascinating play for the eyes!
