Description

I'm in a irreverently puny mood tonight...been reading Hunter S. Thompson stuffs and it's rubbing off on me so, here's this pic. Figured I better add this... It's not meant to be offensive, but it's definitely NOT supposed to be easy to look at either as I was intentionally going for leaving the viewer with an 'uncomfortable' feel. The whole war going on right now, the implications of what viagra means and does, and even the cadence of the wording is meant to have a cacophonous irregularity to it as it plays off the "sex, drugs, and rock and roll" slogan from the same earlier times. And even if Hunter never set out to make the reader uncomfortable, he did just that usually, and that's what made him great because he forced us to turn the viewfinder back towards ourselves into places we didn't like to see or admit.

just a comment on society.... I find it offensive on a few levels. I don't even expect anyone to understand. BTW, I am a huge Hunter S. Thompson fan... but not this aspect.

But Darke, we can't understand if you don't explain! Please give it a try so we can see! I have to say, simply, I think your target audiance is over my head. I don't get this at all. Perhaps simplifying your message...breaking it up more so that several pieces fit together to make one thought would be easier for the average person to take in. The photography is excellent. But keep away from those pills. If daddy don't kill you for messin' with them, the pills just might. They aren't always as harmless as they seem.

Three things we have problems with in the new millenium... and just like the tail end af the last millenium "they" thought sex, drugs and rock n roll would be the assured down fall of civilized society now it seems "the pursuit of indulgent happiness", the middle east plight and feeding the ever growing masses of the world rate high on our new millenium list as threats to general happiness, security and health. Excellent commentary... well done. +5
