Description

Morning all :o) Another shot from the back door yesterday .Its a very good vantage point in this new home and gives a lot of opportunities .What I`ve noticed is that the variety in the bird population here is so much more diverse than the old house .I have become quite interested in watching for all the different birds turning up in the garden and trying to identify them .Some turning up I`ve only ever seen in photo`s and books ,so I feel very priviliged . Awesome capture! The background sets off the bird beautifully, and I just love the line of the fence. It's interesting that you're seeing different birds at the new place, even though it's so close to where you were before.

I lived in a house for 18 years and marveled at all the different birds that came to rest in my yard. How surprised I was when we moved only 7 miles away in a more rural area and found song birds were not too plentiful. I really miss all the many birds we had in that old house but there was a trade off...we have birds of prey out here closer to the river and wild habitat reserves.
