Description

a few days ago i posted a doodle in the 2d graphics forum and told them i would try to make the most complicated coffeepot they could imagine. martin (groegnitram) wanted to have a go on it too, tsking my doodle as a start. we developed our products, keeping the forum members updated and getting feedback. this is what i ended with and martin will post his (unique) version later. we had a lot of fun with this forum-wide design and i hope you like the outcome. it was made from scratch in sketchup and enhanced in zonerdraw and photofiltre. the bigger picture shows better detail.

Koosie, your machine is of epic proportions that only a genius could design. Your attention to detail is always supreme. I'll bet this produces a great cup of coffee. I will have to sample a cup.

I saw your original doodle in the forum—just now—and I beamed! Then I saw Martin's beautiful version in his gallery, and I beamed. Now I see your "high-tech" version (ala 1920) and I beam again! I love the intricacy of your concept. I love the little valves and openings to measure the coffee, the little openings for looking inside and letting off steam, etc etc. I love the nuts & bolts, and the closeups to give us a "closer view". And your ad copy is great—and you picked a really good, sculpted typeface too: Has really fine large-point look, fine display face. And the 125 page booklet? Perfect! Are you gonna write one? I was almost tempted if you didn't, but I couldn't put in the time...but just the thought of a booklet from you makes me laugh. This is doodling at its best, a doodle-turned-full-blown artpiece. Wonderful stuff. Bows to your concept and execution of it! 20 more favs! (I gave 20 to Martin, so 20 for you. Nope, make that 30—you invented the damned thing!) Great work, K, and a ton of fun. Yesssss!

Dear Mr Koosievantutte, I'm interested by getting your very modern coffee machine. Your offer on RR is very interesting, but you didn't give us the price of your coffee machine. I hope it's cheaper than these clean-designed electric ones coming from China or India. As this machine is alo funny and fascinating, people could look at it a long time a day, tasting cups of coffee, dreaming endless in front of this exemple of the genious of Humankind. Our european economic crisis might be resolved by million of people getting it : we shall drink more milk - good for Dutch agriculture - and industry could create employment. For the countries exporting more and more coffee, the crisis could be just a bad remaining! But as modernism is to get the maximum while doing the minimum, I wonder if a mouse, a rat or a guinea pig - you know, the kind of pets you have in a house and who just pass time eating and sleeping - could create enough energy when running endless in a wheel-cage to make a good hot coffee. Naturally, I understand that it means little modifications of your machine, but I'm sure that you could make that easily and successfully and get a copyright and a patent for this "green" ecological machine. Of course, countries exporting pets food could increase their benefits. A good thing to fight against the crisis, no? Sincerely yours, Mr Smith As the idea for saving energy by using pets is mine, I think that 30% of the future benefits of your Company for me is a good deal for both of us. You will receive a contract from my advocates. So as your machine needs a lot of place and as my kitchen is a very small one, I actually by a one million dollars brand new house so that I get enough place for your machine, in it's new version of course. I by my new house with a 25% loan based on the future benefits that my banker hopes. Oh! I forgot : as I just have two cats at home, and as they don't want to get outside for peeing and ....in winter, do you have an idea to create energy with the excrements?
