Sorry to lazy to try and make a decent thumbnail. So I just made a generic one, that I can use now and in the future, when I am again too lazy to make a thumb. lol.
I was just playing around with lights and the surfaces tabs and this showed up. I thought it looked pretty good, so here it is.

As i just try to work a bit on portraits as well,(i prefer whole scenes-lol), i must say it is really hard to get the right expression on a portrait. you did very well,i like especially the eyes and the tiny opening of the lips. very -if y may say so-very sensible,pure and innocent is what i feel right now looking at the cutie. with a little,a very little gap in he front teeth she would remind me young Ute's mouth.. hugs and nice weekend rene

From one that 'loves' portrait renders, this is beautiful. There's nothing like a nice closeup to really show off a character. I have to say that probably 75% of my gallery is of closeups - and frankly I think they are much more challenging to do than a scene. You have the eyes, expressions, lips etc. to be concerned with to make a portrait realistic. You did a wonderful job on yours for sure!
