Deep in the Ozarks
Buried in the back woods
Along the shore
Of the Shannapum River
Lives the voodoo queen
She has no magic
No potions
But she has the greenest eyes
I have ever seen
And they have cast a spell
A spell over me
When I am away from her
I can’t eat
I can’t sleep
I find myself
Standing in the moon light
Howling her name
How can such a tiny gal
Have such a big hold over me
I spend everyday dreaming
Of when I can make it back
To my voodoo queen
