Description

Once again I'm trying out some different background materials. I need to build up a store of several so that when I have more time to work on a new story, I'll have the backgrounds ready to go. This was made entirely in Photoshop, the stars came from the "Glitterato" plugin, but I've never been that pleased with the nebulae that filter produces, so I made my own nebula from a combination of the random-cloud filters in Photoshop, and a couple of photographs of cloudy skies. Very nice...I like it...for some reason though the main body of stars seem too randomly spaced and most are the same size and color. When I look at real stars I see some tightly packed conglomerations with dark space between. Keep up the great work...space and stars have many variations....
