Description

I took some shots of the big Church in Breaux Bridge and this one came out the best. I was not going to post this but I feel that this is the state of some churches. I do not go to this one. I not putting down churches at all I beleive in going to church. But at times all church will hurt you at times. You maybe looking for help and get turn away or treated wrong. You have to remember these people are just like you and will do the wrong things too. I got a lot of stories to tell but it will not help you to hear the bad stuff. Yes you know some stgories too and we can play one top your story all day long. All I saying is test the spirit there and to forgive them if some one did not do what they was going to do. Long time ago when i first started going to a church some one ask me to go to his house and feed his dog. I forgot to feed that dog and I find out the dog had babies in her. lol i feel bad. then six months later he came and ask me to feet the dog again. I forgot to feed the dog. He was mad at me which I do not blame him. I was sad that I forgot to feed that dog. There people like that in all churches so do not blame the whole church for errors on some one that did you wrong or hurt your feelings. I know there is churchs that be bad for any one to go to but I think you know what i talking about here. i not talking about bad churchs just any church you walk into will have people you may need help but they fail you in some way ; like i did with the dog as I forgot to feed it. hope as aI got older I doing better. thanks for looking and comments

Nicely seen and taken through the window, Jock. A thought provoking image. To each his own, I say. Sunday morning out in the woods with a camera is my favorite church. :)

For sure this building is in bad condition but you did a nice photo with it! And there is a blue sky, this is the color of hope! So be happy dear Jocko!

Neat image, Jocko. Empathy. That's what you are saying about remembering people are just people. If you can put yourself in their position (or at least appreciate it) disappointing behavior starts to look a little different and you realize that maybe they just don't understand your feelings at the moment.

Wow, so well seen and captured. We have many churches here that are closed too. It looks like the window of that one is boarded up. As someone else said, we all make mistakes. It didn't hurt the dog to go without food either of those days. That was a very small mistake, and forgotten by the dog as soon as her companion walked in the door. And as Claude said, as we get older, we decide it's better to remember the good things of life then the bad.

Awesome comparison, viewing the pure church through these old and dusty windows.

I really like this photo, the way this is a reflection, fragmented apart. A friend of mine once said that everyone sees the world as a mirror upon which they project their views. We all learn from our past, but the hardest thing is to learn from it while not being ruled by it. I hope you are well, this is an excellent piece.

Wow! You really crammed a lot into this image and conveyed the sadness well. You've made excellent use of not the best situations, here.

An excellent composition and POV on this photo, jocko. Any organization that is made up of people is going to screw up from time to time.
