Description

The aircraft engineers of the Third Reich had a lot of interesting ideas, the Horten Ho. 229 JaBo (Fighter-Bomber) was one of them, its first flight took place on March 1st 1944 but only three of them were ever build and I doubt they saw action before the war ended. With a top speed around Mach 0.92 (607mph/977km/h) and armed with two 30mm MK-108 guns and R4M rockets this aircraft would have been a serious threat to any allied aircraft, apparently it could also be armed with a primitive cruise missile as well.
