Description

this was taken in Dec. 08 when it snowed here. It not snowing now for we get snow like this rare like ever 30 years or so. But the snow is still on the small branches for when I did get to Lake Martin it started to rain so I rush to take as many photos as I can or the area. Here is one that came out good. I need to post a photo of the road too. it had no snow but you still can not drive fast on it. as the title say it all. The photo is from the road i in the truck and yes the camera got a little wet so I got to watch out for that. I did got out the truck some for some shots

This is great. That's a lot of choking duckweed! The cypress trees are sure thick there.

Too cool! It's fascinating how there's such a clear demarcation: snow under the trees, duckweed in the open water. Great shot!

A wonderland either way, and both at the same time, like you say, very rare and unique. Very well done, my friend!

Not your usual Louisianan bayou scene with the snow, but it sure makes an interesting view of winter going south!
