Just another struggling artist with a passion for 3D computer graphics. I was first inspired by the works of Jean Giraud (a.k.a. Moebius) of "Heavy Metal" fame, hence the tribute in my online moniker. My 3D CGI tool of choice is LightWave, but I have recently started mucking about with digital photography. Other tools include Vue Infinite and DAZ|Studio. I also work in Photoshop and CorelDraw to cover the 2D graphics stuff.
I don't have too much patience for setting up final renders, because my interests lie in modeling. "Non-organic" modeling, or "hard surface" modeling, in the sci-fi genre to be specific. So the bulk of the images in my gallery are modeling WIP's and design studies, the rest are photos and a few quick sketches. I consider myself a hobbyist, because I am still at a level where my skills definitely need a lot more improvement.
I'm an architect by training, and work as Studio Manager for an architectural/interiors design office. I was born, raised and educated in the Philippines, but am currently based in Bangkok, Thailand where I live my wife, "Kanittha", our son "Nio" and our cat "Samuel".
Thank you very much for looking up my page.

No scene of a pile of banknotes is complete with a gun either!
TheBear005
Cool render. The currency looks fantastic!

send lawyers, guns and money...;)

Excellent creation. All that's missing is the ashtray full of cigarette butts, and you have yourself a futuristic Mickey Spillane novel cover. moebius wrote: "The images appearing on the reverse sides of the banknotes are used with full permission of my wife." Was that "full" permission, or the patented, eye-rolling, forebearing breathy "fine" to which I'm always subject. LOL
Moebius87
LOL! Yes... it was more the "fine" of the forebearing and borderline-annoyed sort that might be translated as "if you're going to go ahead and do this anyway, get it over with already".

just what you need, a fistfull of chinyen for those underhanded deals

Fantastic currency designs. Excellent gun model and textures. Great render. Thanks for the free currency texture. I had my wallet ready to pick these up. You're very generous. Thank you.

Great stuff and it seems your wife is a good sport! Which isn't a bad thing ;) Great as always to see your work.

Wow! The currency looks great Moe! Pretty cool that you got the wifey involved! Love the render, BTW, as it features my favorite sidearm of all time! ;-)

Excellent - very impressive and perhaps Flowers, Chocolates, Dinner and a nice card are in order! Where is that gun from?

Looks like someone is rolling in the money ! Lucky your wife is such a good sport...I guess that's one of the reasons why you married her ! Nice result...kool heater ! ~Cheers~

Hmmmmm...Master Moe, you should reconsider the transparency, though it is a good idea, it looks more like a render error in a "real life" image, if one doesnt know its intended, apart from that, Killer Image, the gun has just the right touch of reality , i never manage to give mine...grrr talent cant be bought..luckily, id have to spent a fortune.
zapper1977
looking good, about time you post something.... :), but any ways nice to see you still around..... Mike

Most excellent work! Superb detail!!!!

Tarantino meets Dystopia ;-) Nice render!

Very cool!!! The transparency banknotes idea worked out great! Djando may have brought up a good point, but you don't need to give up the transparency at all. Things like light scratches, little but of dirt or even small repeated patterns can be added, IF it comes to that. But for now, the ChinYen textures rule! A+!
ObsidianLogic
awesome now thats curancy to be proud of
