Description
Flowers from my daughters 16th birthday, I wanted to save them for her.
Thank you all for you overwhelming response it my last photo, so many of you said it would make a nice Christmas card so I think I will do just that, and also use it for my calendar next year, thank you all. Well it is going to be in the 60’s here today so I am going to have a quick look around at the gallery, and then head outside for the day. Have a wonderful Saturday!

This is a grand way to save the flowers for a long time to come. Well done. Found a new, old barn circa 1865-1870 today and am working on it. Going back late this afternoon for light from the other direction.

a nice bouquet against that black background, like a studio shot of flowers...it looks like you're using intense direct lighting, I like the hint of shadow in the background. If you chose the bouquet, it's a good contrast in shape, texture, etc. (there's an art to flower arrangement, as I'm sure you know). I also like the soft focus in front (a couple of flowers)...some would probably like to see them clearly, but I like them this way because they feel like energy more than flowers. Glad Erin liked it, sounds like she had a fine birthday. And hope you're doing well too, Lynell! Enjoy your February in God's country! Will be roaming in your earlier work again soon...still a lot I haven't seen yet!
