Description

Morning all :o) Kendal was about 12 miles from where we were staying in the lakes .June can`nt go anywhere without looking for a town ,so she can have a look in the shops or worse still the markets lol :o)..I managed to drag her away from the centre so I could get some pics and this is one of them . That light is really fabulous. I understand that need for shops. I don't shop but I love to see what the "locals" are interested in. And I love mingling with all the different people :-) But that urge only lasts about an hour and then I'm done with it. Beautiful shot, Mick!

What a great photo Mick, I love the light on the houses and moody sky. I find winter and its dramatic day to day changes in the weather produces some wonderful opportunities for photographs, I do enjoy sitting and going through RR.

I wouldn't want to fall in there! That threatening sky is so dramatic, and I love the way it matches the roofs and the water. I have to admit I'd need a peep at the shops, I usually buy some fabric! Did you get some of the famous mintcake?
