Description

Well, after all these penguins I thought I'd go back and paint something a bit more human again...and what could be more beautiful than another Cate Blanchett? Or more challenging...haha As you can see, there's 3 different stages of the painting in this post. Right now it looks like it does on the last big one at the bottom and I hope I'll get a chance to paint some more tonight. Nothing is really ready yet. The skin needs a bit more redish to it, the hair needs a LOT more work, the dress is just the basic color and so on. I'm glad that you liked my penguin picnic yesterday :D They're still arguing about that perfect spot btw...and the little one already climbed into the bucket ;) Thank you so much for all the comments :D

It is wonderful to see your process, and I look forward to more. I love the pose. If the little penguin is in the pale, I assume it is after everybody had their fill of fish. :)))
