To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather

Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

"I get out my work and have a show for myself before I have it publicly.
I make up my own mind about how good or bad or indifferent it is.
After that the critics can write what they please.
I have already settled it for myself so flattery
and criticism go down the same drain and I am quite free.

Very beautiful Mina and I think you do have a sacred heart.

She looks like she's stareing out the window and saying: I really would like to go outside... but it feels like, somebody's watch'n me, and I have no privacy.

like a soul looking out from a chamber, her hand on her heart and the red of her heart all around her, as if her environment was beating 'with' her. You do that in your images, you make the surroundings sing with the person's insides...The mesh on the window suggests a 'back' window, maybe an alley view; or an urban window of some kind. But inside, the woman is holding her heart as if to keep it in her grasp, as if to never let it go. It's poignant, very well captured, and it's touching. Your title gives it all the meaning it could want...very intimate, Mina. All blessings to you, dear soul...
