Description
This is from a cat walk style model evening at my camera club. It's the first time I have ever shot models in studio conditions.

I always thought shooting upward like that would make her look fifteen feet tall?..Oh well your POV is better, and a nice idea to include the other members David.

kind of agree with Ronnie, I'm wondering whether you guys were allowed to stand up or had to remain seating? I think it's more 'usual' when possible to shoot from slightly above a model for a more flattering look.. but nice job showing the event in a wider sense, interesting shot, must have been a fun series of pics to get to grips with!

Might have been a good object lesson for all involved. Take photos from all angles and see what works and what doesn't. I know my old neck looks better when I am photographed from above...not at all flattering when photographed from below. Like your photo here of the class...you've got a good turnout.

A great idea to be able to look behind the scenes David the lighting looks adequate though I do notice some yellow light which may upset the colour balance to warm tones. I would also imagine the stage or the flooring may have caused a few to shoot more upwards, as been said not the most ideal way, which you avoided from what I can see of your shots..
