I LIVE IN JACKSONVILLE FL AND WE HAVE A NAVAL AIR STATION, A NAVAL BASE, A COAST GAURD STATION, AND A NATIONAL AIR GUARD OUTFIT. ALL WITHIN ABOUT A 20 MILE RADIUS FROM MY SISTERS HOUSE. SO, IT'S QUITE COMMON TO SEE THESE GUYS FLYING ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD. NO TOUCHUP HERE THIS ONE DOESN'T APPER TO HAVE ANY MARKINGS ON IT AT ALL.

Great shot mate. This is super.

Great picture, but if you look closely at the tail you will see "AVY" and along with the grey color and the radar dome on the belly plus the rear wheel beeing on the body instead of the tail makes this a Seahawk. The Blackhawk and the Seahawk are almost identical airframes, but the Seahawk is designed to have its tail folded to save space in aircraft carrier hangerbays. Easy mistake to make and it is an awesome picture you took!

A Great shot. As for the markings, most NATO planes tend to go for 'low resolution' markings. You can just see NAVY and the US insignia. The rest is on there somewhere. Top shot. More? Rob.

Excellent shot! I would love to live so close to a base. When I hear a jet coming, I run like crazy so I can see them as they fly over. I agree, are there more?
