My real name is Markus. I live in Germany in a little town between Chemnitz an Plauen - i don't think somebody knows ;-).
Last year I buy me a Nikon D40 and now I be able to take much more pictures as before. The macros I shared are all freehand-shots.

That's cool, particularly--as you mentioned--the water beads on this birds head! No worries about the species- its a cool capture. I am curious though- these outdoor shots always seem to have ISO 400- are you using auto mode or manual?
