Description

The camera's lens can capture details you normally don't see because birds are too small, too far away, and moving too fast. You can see details of body movement, body language that they use to communicate, behavior, and feather details. The tufted titmouse has intricate and detailed feathers on its upper body, beautiful soft flowing feathers on its belly, and that lovely bit of soft peach to rust coloring under its wings that sets off what some might consider and otherwise drab bluish gray color. When I look in detail at a bird, I see the essence of aerodynamics...light weight, sleek, soft flowing lines. Amazing little creatures. This is a perfect example.

I love the tufted titmouse. There's a lot of them up in the Georgia and North Carolina Mountains too. Great capture

Your shot also picks up the enormous eye-to-face ratio that is astounding in this breed of bird. also, the tiny scales formed on the backs of the hind claw. You have really brought this lovely bird to the forefront. I have never felt they were drab at all and many will probably find new reasons to admire it now after seeing it through your eyes (and lens).
