Description
What with the first snow of February melting and a couple of days of rain, the river had risen slightly and was flowing very fast compared to the usual slow pace of the Thames.
A fast flow always makes the surface look smoother in photos - especially through the wider sections of the stream.
Another heavy snowfall overnight had brought back the winter-wonderland look and that, combined with the fast flow, made for a rather nice overall effect.
Once again, I did consider making it monochrome but that hint of colour seems to makes the scene come alive.
Hope you like it anyway. Thanks for looking. :-)
