Description

When the wonderful moonrancher came to see my area and to see me ; that great artist let me us a len baby. it was wonderful. I see them and read about them and even posted it that I was getting one. I never did. lol. But moonrancher read what I wrote and seeing one in a store and saw the price; bought one for it did not cost a arm and a leg. thank you for letting me play with it even thought I did not know what i was doing. But that how it is most the time play with it first then read about it lol This is the sugercane laying on the ground waiting to be burn then picked up. I show you how it was done butmoonracher have posted some photos of how they pick up the cane this way. There is a diff way of doing it and i got the shots of that way too. Faemike55 post photos he use for his wonderful faries and other images and i thought of a fary been chase here by my been there. all they wist is fun times and people may think wrong on how to handle faries. I need to buy a len baby for I do like what I see. thanks for looking and comments

I get the feeling I'm a tennis shoe on a foot that is lickity-split...running through the cane fields. Good job with this lens.

It's not the fairies I'm concerned about...it's the trolls and their evil intent. Cool capture with the lens baby, Jock. And I ordered a new camera today, this one a bit more advanced than the one that died yesterday.

In Carl Sandburg's Rootabaga Stories he wrote about the corn fairies, and this looks like the kind of place he described, only with sugar cane. He said they come out at night, and "All boys and girls know that corn is no good unless there are corn fairies." The same thing must be true about sugar. He would know. You can read the whole poem (and maybe the whole book, which is wonderful,) here.

Jock, I think this is my very fave picture you've posted. Why? because it shows the whimsical side of you! Plus I can see a just the edge of a fairy's coat tails right there, almost at the center, that little sort of pumpkin colored bit? see it??

Great and original capture, Jock. The motion in the image looks amazing. It kinda gives it touch of surrealism and horror.+5
