Description
This dedication is for MagikUnicorn and Mickeyrony, and I am so proud to do it. They are great friends and both of them asked me to make a image of them as children being happy. I know not everyone has happy childhood memories, and that is why it was important for me to do a good job for them. Mickey is a great photographer who has a passion for classic cars. Magik loves photography and also works in Bryce and Terragen. Both of them are very talented artists and the nicest men you could ever hope to meet. Mickey and Magik have made videos for my sister, my nieces and myself. Magik shares with me news of NASA and outer space and has made banners and other gifts for me. Mickey is always so kind to me and always lets me view his videos before anyone else. They have done so much for me so I wanted to create a vision of the childhood they deserved to have. Hope for smiles
Street Dreams (For MagikUnicorn & Mickeyrony): In my mind I see best friends Magik and Mickey heading out for a day of fun. Both of them have new pedal cars and want to test them on the street. Mickey has a classic Chevrolet and his sister Diane and their puppy both come along. While Magik has a super cool Space Ship with huge booster rockets for extra speed. Both boys drive their pedal cars downtown to show them off. Everyone points and stares at their cool cars as they drive down the street like they were in a parade. Stopping only at the toy store for a moment and then to get ice cream for Diane. This is the childhood memory these two deserve. Thank you guys for your friendship to me.

I don't know how you do it, but you've done it again Dave. Much like a an ice dncer, you get points for technical aspects (especially the use of the car AND the snub fighter) but also for artistic interpretation of the dream of childhood. And you found room for the puppy too. :) Well done my friend.

Excellent Dedication to both great artists here Dave. Also, a most excellent image that says it all. Wish I had one of those cool peddle cars as a child. I had to do with an old box that the new stove came in. All closed up, it was dark as pitch inside. Added a control panel made from my Erector set and punched some pin holes in one end to look like stars. Then made believe I was in a spacship going somewhere cool. Those where great memories brought about by your image above. Thanks! Have a great Valentines day this weekend my friend. Bravo and best wishes from Dave :^)

Oh, I really love this because it reminds me of my own little car when I was a kid--it was a red metal car, the kind that you used little peddles to make it move. It was my favorite toy ;) The whole scene is wonderful, but I especially like the kids' expressions!

Dave, this is so cool!!! A really great one and has me just a smilin'. Something that I've sure needed to do. Love their autos. Too cute. Love the posing and motion of the lady in pink especially. All are great and it is surely up to your wonderful standard. So well done and I know those two have to love it.

Wonderful rendering Dave, lots of detailing and I can see the kids are really having fun here. And that space ship is really cool. I wish I had one growing up. I'd say Diane is quite sensible to hold her ice cream outside of the car and away from the puppy. No doubt after he finishes licking Mickey's ear (you can see that he wants to), there will be some thought as to how to get some of that frozen goody. What is it about dogs and cars though? They just love to take rides in automobiles. One of our dogs, Jock (another black Labrador retriever), would get so excited on even the shortest of trips that he would start to "sing". No matter how much my Dad hollered at him (because Dad really hated the sound of a dog "singing") Jock would never shut up. Well after all, a Lab can be quite loud. Though occasionally, Jock would sometimes quiet down just so he could sneak up to Dad and lick his ear (while driving). Something else Dad really did not like all that much. Cheers!

Outstanding! What a wonderful story. I had a play car when a small child, which I had made myself out of cardboard boxes. I had great imaginary trips in that, and it lasted all summer! Excellent render. We do live our childhood through our kids, but mine are grown now.
