Very fine piece and the detail is astounding, and yes, Tanis1973 has valid points, although as far as telling your story of your character your way...you've succeeded admirably.

Beautiful textures, lighting, everything! A true masterpiece, Rena! The only thing that seems a bit odd is the texture on the stairs, but who cares?

Love the textures, creates a good deal of depth to the image. However, the chair appears to be floating. The shadows dont meet the legs and apear to be casted in the wrong direction according to the major light sources. The shadows of the char indicate two strong light sources, one directly from the front and one from the right. The shadows on the wall indicate a very strong light source from the front-right. The pose isnt very natural, her hip/abdomin interface seem to bend to sharply. Examine the figure from the side to verify me. I would also lower the right arm onto the chair back and position the head a bit straiter, try stitting in your own chair in those positions and see which really is more comfortable. This could be a very great image with some minor fixes :-)
