Description
That plasic bowl is small and easily fits in the palm of my hand.
It's hardly big enough for one dove, much less three of them!
I've no idea how they managed that without tipping the whole thing over!
All the little birds were very dejected that there was no room for them.

This reminds me of the observation that my brother and I have made about pigeons. Wood pigeons, of which I have several pairs, can't stand anyone sharing while they eat, there are constant peckings and skirmishes. They prefer to be alone, like Greta Garbo. Town or feral pigeons, on the other hand, are incapable of eating alone, and when one makes a move to the food, another 40 arrive too and they stand on each others heads to het to the table! I love the blue on your Doves!

I find the coloring on the doves very interesting. And the one that thought he had to stand in the food bowl struck me as cute and funny. This is a another great shot.

I had a bird feeder in my yard and the doves took over and chased all the other birds away. They seem to be very aggressive! There are some cool Blue jays that come around every now and then but I have not been able to get a good shot! Nice work as usual!

Come as you are, and bring your own bottle! I thought there was supposed to be a pecking order among birds. How come they're not shoving each other to the side or off the bowl? In any case, another one of your impeccable avian captures, Maria! They're probably in the hundreds by now.

Oh dear, the poor little birds got pushed out...maybe another feeder is in order, with a "protective fence" so the big ones can't get through? No, that would interfere too much with the wonderful photos. This is great, looks like that one fellow has moved in to stay!
