Description
Chesa Skybreaker had been sent merely to fetch Valen Shadowsbane out of his long retirement so that he might instruct the next generation of Dragonriders. She wasn’t expecting to fall in love with him. More so, she wasn’t expecting him to return her affection. After the loss of both his family and his dragon, Valen had hardened himself against such feelings, surrounding his heart with walls of ice. But during the course of their training and travels together, Chesa chipped through the ice, brought warmth and friendship back into Valen’s world, and soon kindled the flames of love once more in his soul. Where once he was content to live in solitude, now he could not bear to be parted from her, his true love.

As for Valen, it was only after Hiro 4 and the Lord of Battles armor came along that I had what I needed to bring my vision of him to life as I saw him. More images of our brave Riders will come…eventually.
