The forward-focused eyes are a treasure. Not as threatening of an expression as one would expect on a bird like this but tons of detail and a very impressive capture.

This is not what I would call a buzzard! Buzzards in my area are very ugly birds. This is some type of hawk or eagle. Very detailed shot!!! Happy Valentine's Day!

Thanks to all for your kind comments. I can assure you that this is a buzzard, his name is Leighton and he is a captive bird and he lives at the Barn Owl centre in Gloucestershire. Definately not a hawk or eagle. Buzzards are infact very attractive birds as this shot shows. Val
