Description

Are you ready for another series???? These have been taken over the last month and a half. During the winter, the wild horses come down into our valley and are very easy to spot. But try to get close enough for a good picture and forget it! At least that's how it usually is. This time, we were able to get "REALLY" close! I can't even believe how close we got. I will start out with this group picture. I love this one, because it reminds me of a CD cover! You know.... the ones where the band members are standing around looking at the camera, except for one member that's always looking off in another direction!!!! LOL :P Check back for the close ups I'll be posting over the next several weeks! Have a great Valentine's Day!!!

The sagebrush, expanse and mountains in the distance are reminiscent of the mountains in Colo. where I grew up! Lovely image, Kim.

I have only glimpsed a small herd of wild ponies once from a long way off and almost as quick as I spotted them, they were gone. This is an awesome shot. The landscape really enforces the wildness in their hearts.
