Description

Another very old freebie item that started out as a joke... and then it evolved and become much more involved with more than a dozen textures contributed by several artists. The square soda can concept came from an idea to save on storage, but apparently the physics doesn't allow this to work very well. Just posting up some old freestuff items I have to establish proof of ownership, just in case anyone else decides to create a copy and sell it. Thank you very much for viewing this.

Sure the cans can. :) Not much good to have a soda if you can slurp the goodness out of them. One thing they do not do is deform when crushed. Way too involved for a freebie.

Excellent work, Moe. (As I said in my post in the forum regarding the "console", I think the other product was clearly influenced by yours. Especially the presence of circles in the graphics on the screens, not to mention the overall copper hue of the screen graphics. I guess you can't prove absolutely that the other product stole from yours, but I can't help but acknowledge what I see as obvious influences, IMHO.)

Thankfully. Selling something which is available for free does not really work. Still might catch out someone new to the hobby. An excellent freebie.

Hey Moe...Dystopia is just NOT the same without the soda! Does it come in chicken-cola flavour? (don't ask)

There are probably a variety of manufacturing issues involved here, too. But, like the long available square glasses, for storage, you'd think that makes a lot of sense. Wonderful variety of textures here that really make this project come alive.

Great stuff, as always. It's been awhile, my friend. Hope all's well in Bangkok.
