hello friends, as always thanks a million for your comments and views of my images.i'm doing well, fairly busy but well. i read some of you were wondering why my posts have been so sparse of late. frankly i've been taking some time to just goof off with friends and or just be lazy and do nothing.i do admit it's been hard for me to really get motivated to really create but art is never far from my mind.at the moment buying a new computer is my main goal in the next months so i can finally learn some modeling and render a little faster and better. todays image is one of my airbrushed 2ds from 2001.the character in it was patterned from an image called love mummy by the greats fastner and larson.i've actually done it three times trying to emulate the style of pinup/comic/fantasy art they made famous not to rip off their work but pay hommage and to learn from 2 true masters of their craft.in fact i wasn't sure i could actually post it.a week of reworking for color from a photo i took of it it in ps it's here finally*whew*. 8 years later i can honestly say those studies i did back then were invaluable in my creations the last few years. well i'm off to hang out in our local irish pub with some friends.happy valentine's day to ya. till the dragon flies again,hugs and regards, lee

Excellent stuff, love he expression on his face, haughty, a bit sneering, perfect for the Pharoah! Hmmm .. maybe it's lust I'm seeing, is he looking at something that's not his and lusting after it? So glad to read that you are doing better, getting back into life, going out with friends. That's excellent.
