Evening all :o)
Its a fairly quiet town where we live ,not much goes on in terms of trouble ,well until the other night that is .It appears the big city life has finally reached us .Around the corner from where we used to live two teenagers and a woman walked into someones house and shot the husband in front of his wife and kids .He`s critical but still alive ,but the best of it is they were in the wrong house and shot the wrong person .High as a kite and full of beer ,their justification was they were out for a laugh and a bit of revenge in a drugs war .I despair at what this world is coming to .

Such a magnificent macro Mick. So sad about the increase in gun crime, I watched a programme the other night and one of the gunmen was 15, it was in Streatham & also peckham in London. My heart bleeds each time I hear of another.

Hei Mick don't worry so much about this world, it isn't so everywhere, even if in the surface like so!!! I tell you this becouse I traveled all around for 7 years consecucly and I slill found beautiful natural places where are living person that want to live in Love and Respect all together. Neautiful yellow close up!!! Great!!! :)

Mick I love the image and am so sorry that violence is spreading into your area. Like you we live in a rural setting that used to be safe but with the introduction of drugs the same things happen as do in the larger cities

Sad news that such troubles have invaded your space. Since leaving my home in Texas some 25 years ago, I have had the misfortune to live in the big city and not a day goes by without some tragedy happening. Not a theft, but an attempt - successful or not - on the life of another. Hey, I was toppled by the detail on this macro, Mick! Really stellar clarity and an unbelieveably interesting shot.

So very sad to hear this! I too worry for our world! So much senseless violence, I see it everyday here but it still evokes shock and sadness. Wonderful capture Mick and so very glad to hear from you!
