"Abstract bubble art"--is that a new "movement" in "photography". "Abstract", along with many other terms, is a much misundertood and abused concept, and not only in "art". Americans especially, mainly because of their education or rather lack of it, their indoctrination into the Scottish Commonsense School and British empiricism, and their actively anti-intellectual bent, consider as "concrete" and "unabstracted" some of the most fantastical and immaterial fictions in known history. Just for one example, most of contemporary "physics", including "atoms", however defined, or, just for another, their utterly immaterial and collapsing "dollar", which does not even rise the level of a true fiat currency. Have you read Melville's Confidence Man yet by any chance?
