Awesome shot. The only thing I miss about the Mainland. Hawaii has pretty much one season. I miss the changing colors of the leaves. But, not the cold. Have a great weekend. Aloha

the light here is splendid. I have to assume that dealing with this kind of light can be tricky (I'm a 2D artist, so bear with me if I'm way off base...): It would seem easy to over-saturate, or allow the light to overtake the detail, etc. But here your light illuminates the shot without consuming it. And that break in the back-trees—3/4 of the way across, on the right?—voila! Just right! A big shot of reflective green receding back and out of that big frontal line...that's where fine photographers show their stuff. It would've been a nice shot without it, but with it? Music. Very nice capture of the water too, it moves through several textures until it opens up at bottom. Monet would've been proud (in his late great "water lily" paintings). Beautiful work.
