I choose this title for two reasons, a Change to come soon in Seasons, and for the name of the foundation my daughters school is performing for today, they are having a Valentines Orchestra concert and the proceeds all go to the Playing for change foundation to help build, staff and improve new and existing music schools in Africa and all around the world. A happy Sunday to everyone.

Such a pretty poppy and capture, I love the detail especially on the stems with the fine and delicate hairs. So many stages of life in this photo

simply beautiful, lynell, the way you've captured the growth stages in the lifecycle... and in such a vibrant way too! excellent eye for metaphor in addition to visual composition! and as for the concert... rock on, erin!! xox

Nicely done Lynell! Best to Erin. Musical genes in my family bypassed me but I am a big advocate of music education.

It's a different take, for a change, to show the other side of a flower and why not ? very rich in colour, those dew drops add another dimension. Cheers BB

That is a very nice show of how the poppy goes through it's stages. Everything is wonderfully in focus and the droplets have even gathered some pollen!

Glad I popped in to view the poppies in this stellar macro, Lynell. Sharp clarity and vivid colors on display here.

I'd heard of Playing for Change, but never looked into it. A wonderful concept, and nice that your daughters' school dedicates their proceeds to the foundation. Nice bold macro (full view a must!) with a nice capture of the twisty stems and all their bristles & orneriness. And the flower really bursts into the center of it all: It's big & bold, and the water on the flower brings out its texture. Bright cheery piece for the foundation you're honoring, and for the winter too. Hope you're doing well this February!
