Hello everyone my Banana tree is back and this is Part 2..:)..some of you ask me how did the banana tree grow? If u can see my previous picture, then this time u will have the answer...It appears that there is a flower that starts a small cluster, then the core grows a bit and another flower appears that becomes another cluster of bananas. I wonder how the banana tree knows when to stop extending the banana stalk, making flowers and more bananas? Now look at the crop... Seeing this makes me think of Harry Belefonte's song, Day-O! and of course who can hear that song and not think of the movie, Beetlejuice! or for that matter, watching Harry on the Muppet show, singing that song.... that is an excellent photo and your plant looks very mature, I only got a photo of a banana tree two days ago in a glass house but it dosnt look as healthy as your one.
