Description
There is no freedom among the living
From the day you are born
Until the day you die
There are people trying to put you down
To keep you down
There is always someone
Waiting to tell you
That your best isn’t good enough
Questioning why you did
What you did
God forbid you get caught
Thinking out side the box
They want to control your mind
Because the mind controls the body
They always want you to do good
Just not quiet as good as they are doing
I am not afraid of the here after
I am afraid of the here and now
Oh death where is thy sting
Set me free
From these chains that bind me
Give me wings
That I may fly
Through out all eternity

Lol I warned you it was a little on the dark side. Trust me I am doing fine hahaha. I think there always someone who is just waiting to put you down for something, usally someone you love. I hope everyone likes my walk on the dark side. Vaggabondd

Very well written! I would have quit with "I'm afraid of the here and now." Everything after that has a different flow. Or maybe just putting a blank line between that line and "Oh death ..." Ummm ... yup ... just a blank line would probably do it. LOL! I suppose given the subject matter, I could have picked a different poem on which to make a suggestion! Ah well. Just my opinion, for whatever that's worth. This has not been my experience in life. Other people and their opinions have no control over our ability to choose.

"Laughs" (Laughs = understood) we all spend so much time in confusion...upon realization, it strikes me as funny,… it is enough to drive someone crazy… "Laughs"
