Morning all :o)
Today I`m having another go at packing the fags in .I`m more relaxed and I`m getting help from the doctor this time in the form of a drug called Champex .I`m ready this time ,less stressed and more content :o)..
I could`nt pass up the opportunity of taking a pic whilst I was taking the other shots of the Cyclamen with the macro lens.
Thanks for taking a look and take care.
Mick

I wish you the strengh you´ll need to stop smoking and a tip: The book from Allen Carr with the title "The easy way to stop Smoking". It was not helping me, but it was very interesting and I really stopped for 4 days... *loool. No I stopped smoking last year in April. I had a virus infection, my throat was hurting, and I tried to have a cigarette. I coughed so I couldn´t smoke this one. The next day I tried it again, the same game... than I thought "What the hell I´m doing here? I wanted to stop smoking for so long, now I force myself to smoke." The last cigarette I throw away... That was it. I didn´t need any nikotin gums or drugs. It is hard to stay without cigarette, but only in situations, there you normally would smoke. Wish you the best, Mick, and dont only try.... DO IT!!!

My heart goes out to you. I know the struggle well and I hope above all, you make your goal. Frankly, this photo looks better than it ought to to me. :-) But then, maybe its because the guy who took it did a dang fine job doing it.

If it helps Mick, I just stopped smoking a month ago ;O) If you go through a whole day without a cigarrette why not a second day and a third day???? .... You can do it for sure ;O)

good luck--I gave my sister a bumper sticker years ago that said, "Kissing a smoker is like licking an ashtray". She was not amused, but that came to mind when i saw this!!

Best of luck, my friend! I'm actually more pleased to hear your life is back to being calm and that you're happy, than that you're quitting smoking. If I had to choose between you being an unhappy non-smoker and a happy smoker, I would hope you were happy. That's not to say I don't think you should give it a go! :) A happy non-smoker would be best, of course. Take good care, and keep us posted! This is a great shot, btw. Wonderful detail!

Mick its easy for us to say just give up, but its much harder than that. I had my first ciggie at 8 and smoked on a regular basis from 13 and finally gave up at 27! I have never had one since and too smoked rollups. I still dream that I smoke, but even dream that I am trying to keep it a secret and smoke B & H even though I never did!!!! I wake up oh so pleased that I really haven't had a ciggie. This isnt a one off dream I have this dream probably 10-12 per year. Smoking is an addiction and needs to be treated as one. Good on you and good luck.

Awww, man, I wish you good luck with that, Mick! The doc gave me "Chantix" perhaps the same thing, but the side effects were a killer, so I had to stop. And I'm smoking still. Best of luck to you, I hope it works for ya this time!!!
