Description

Ok Here he is with the webbing lines. I tried to keep all the suggestions I received from the Test pic when I did this one. I'm not sure where I'm gonna take him from here but the first thing I need to tackle is fixing some of the webbing line problems. You can finally see him completely. I wasn't really thinking when I did the darker one. Kind of silly to ask for advice and then hide the character. The idea behind this character was for an RPG character I have. He's a Spider-Man type character but I wanted a new outfit for him. This is what I've come up with so far. Thanks to Quagnon, the3dgm, and psychodan. I worked on your ideas for the lighting and ended up having to lighten up the texture because the dark black wouldnt highlight. Now it has a subtle blue highlight. After Fighting with the lines on his feet I think I'm going to make his "socks" black less of a headache...lol

Much better :) One way to show his physique would be to set his highlight colour to a mid-level grey, which would make him just shiny enough to see the detail.

Yes! Much better, adding a touch of blue to the highlight channel in the Poser material editor to the black areas of the suit may help with some of the detail of his physique, and some softer, indirect, lighting to set it off. Eye areas look a lot better. Would like to see the mesh on his boots and gloves a little tighter and finer, but that is just my opinion. Your doing great!

Check out Gambit at Xf7 Online! I like the new lines.. but I'd still make the boots more like boots and less like socks. Maybe you should make the black a reflective surface and shine a blue spotlight on him? That might help the blue effect...

Nice nice it could use just a tad of work on the muscle detail all thins considered pretty good the only flaw is the muscles need detailed and it could be just a bit bigger its better than the original though

When working with a Venom-esque (Alien Costume, Venom, Spider-Woman 2) costume, I set the highlight to a nice light blue, something along the lines of 100/200/255 in RGB. Also, uncheck the box for your textures that say "Apply over highlights" or whatnot. I'll post one of my feminine Symbiote renders as soon as I get the lines to connect between front and back.
