Description
Taken on one of my photo jaunts off Heckshire Drive/A1A. This looks like an 85 foot Desco to me. In laymens terms that means it is 85 feet long from stem to stern along the Keel or bottom of the boat. Desco refers to the shipyard or marina where the boat was built and that would be in St Augustine FL. My late husband worked on one of these for years. The "arms" of the boat are outriggers and at the end of each are the doors. these are what spread open the nets under water to catch the shrimp and fish. Well enough school, please enjoy the shot. OOPS I added a blue filter to the image in photoshop just to make it look better.(there was not much color in anything that day.) thanks for viewing, DreamWeaver.

Nice capture, we have these kind of boats fishing off shore from here and we can see their lights at night which are so bright even though they are a fair way off shore.
