Description
My orchid, in yet another pose. For some reason, this might be my favorite.
I am SO tired, that coffee I drank late yesterday kept me up till almost 4 this morning. Doesn't usually happen like that, but this time it did!! I woke up at 7, went back to sleep, finally made it out of bed about 9. Still not enough and I'm feelin a bit rummy tonight. Oh well, I'll catch up with myself eventually--if you see me walkin down the street with a glazed look on my face, you'll know why!!

Picture yourself in a boat on a river With tangerine trees and marmalade skies. Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly A girl with kaleidoscope eyes. Cellophane flowers of yellow and green, Towering over your head. Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes and she's gone. Sterling POV and backlighting in this spectacular shot of the glistening orchid cocktail, M! And caffeine for you at night is now a no-no.

I was actually listening to the Beatles as this came up! " She's Leaving Home" Very old but always a favorite. I love this one, I think I see Mom's, ( or was it Grandma's) glass there too. The backlighting is exquisite!

I like them all, you let your orchid put on quite a show, but yes, this one has the most bold & majestic pose. I've never seen an orchid in a glass like this, it still looks like a fancy drink. But close up this is almost an abstract, and the colors & textures could be a vivid painting. When you play with light like this, you get some very painterly qualities. However one sees it, it's bold and exuberant and the red against all that white & yellow is marvelous.
