To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

This is heart wrenching info Mina. Well done in taking a stand against this brutal killing of such wonderful animal heritage of ours. In my country there are stupid and painless people who breed lions which are then hunted in an enclosed fenced area. It is known as caged lion hunting. It leaves the lion with no escape or chance to defend itself from overly rich foriegn visitors. They are mere cowards who knows no moral values imho! Exceptional art work! Fav!

Blue Moon! My favorite kind...;) This is a beautiful picture, so soft and romantic, and utterly magical! I saw all your latest artworks and I'll comment here so it's easier: ALL BEAUTIFUL!!!You have such a gift, my friend! One of my favorite shows is on Animal Planet, "Animal Cops", and it breaks my heart to see the cruelty that humans lay upon innocent creatures. I always love to see a seemingly broken animal taken from its abuser, and with lots of TLC they find a loving home in the end. Wolves have always been a target and an animal that has been given such a terrible reputation, and have been targeted in folklore as "evil". Alaska is known for its rugged beauty and wildlife, the last "frontier". And to know that wolves are being run down and murdered simply for the sake of being wolves is an abomination. It is much like the mustangs of the west who have also been slaughtered. Mustangs are a symbol of America right up there with the bald eagle. Maybe the eagle will be the next threatened, and isn't it insane? I'm not supposed to say so, but I'd like to see Palin run across a field with a helicopter and a rifle trained on her ass!! (whew, what a rant!)But I believe in the right for all creatures to exist, as we are part of them and they part of us.
