Description

Managed a heli flight today with the door off for photography,very draughty. It was a Robinson R44 Raven.

Yes, I know how it feels... --------------------------- 20 years ago, I've been there after having shot off my big mouth to a fellow officer about the timid manner they performed the air lift/strike drill in a "cold" helo.(Doors and sitting squad) So next day, we were up for a full 45min CPM flight in a stripped down AB.In the dusk."Organised" by yours trully ... ------------------------------------------------- I can still hear the curses of the crew on the R/T, and the rattle of the team's teeth. P
