in isolation the one on the right is probably the better image, but side by side my eye is still drawn to the left one, I think the right one is ever so slightly too soft for my taste. nice job tho!

I also played with the soft focus look... while softening the image I felt I lost too much clarity. Then I tried "digital camera noise removal" from the many adjustments in my Paint Shop Pro XI program. It rendered the image smooth and yet it offered more clarity than the soft focus adjustment. Then I would utilize the "clarify" adjustment and while still smoothing the image it brought the image into an even better resolution. None of this is to say that I don't like your postwork. In fact I do... I do such postwork all the time myself on many of my model photography as well. ; )
