Description

this is my sweet diabetic cat and my only one that is not a rescue cat . .I got him from a garage sale along with his twin brother 12 years ago in May .. his brother passed away from kidney failure at age 5 ... hes looking so much better now that he is on insulin again ( twice a day ) ..he loves other cats and loves to clean them ..but .. only one of the others lets him for about 30 seconds lol ..Marz never lets me take photos of him front on ..always sideways ... I was using my new lens on this shot 50 mm f 1.8 thank you for comments on Cristian :)

But of course he wants a profile shot, that way he knows you get is best side, and less likely to get flash in his eyes, he is one very clever cat Lu. So sorry he is ill with diabetes, it is never easy when our beloved pets become ill, they are indeed so very precious us. This is one very excellent shot, I just love the way his mouth turns up in the corner to smile, and also he has the most gorgeous coloured blue eyes. Thank you Lu, hugs Jane xx

Excellent profile portrait with good softening while retaining details. I am sympathetic about his diabetes. Not only do we deal with it in my family members, but I had a beagle who developed it and it was not easy to check blood sugar and administer insulin several times a day. Marz looks pretty healthy so you must be doing an excellent job and he also much trust you alot to not hide every time he sees you coming. LOL

He's just adorable looking. Perhaps he's saying 'I'm ready for my closeup Mr. DeMill.' LOL. I just could pass that one up. This is a wonderful shot and will make beautiful memories for years to come.
