I can't quite say why this one felt right as a dedi for Mark (anahata.c). Maybe it's the overall sense of it, it's strange flow, the palette, the somehow earthen-ness of it, it's own flavor. Hmmm, I honestly just can't say. One of those things that simply...is.
With thanks, Mark, for your always-introspective comments, your totally delightful images, and your nurturing way of always encouraging others along in their own creativity. Peace and joy..

I must be hungry, or low on chocolate. Chocolate Eclairs. Sigh. It's those delicious rich browns, and the creamy colors, and the swirls and the textures .. (oh please stop .. I'm drooling) Yet I see a marvelous shell form too, laying on a warm sandy beach, just waiting for someone to pick it up and enjoy the marvelous spirals inside, exposed by the sand and water wearing off the outside of it. It's gorgeous in so many ways!

Nancy, thank you so much. You don't know how much this touched me, it truly did. The image is gorgeous and it's very you...It's earthy but also transcendent, and has all those touches you give in art that make your forms sing and transcend their spaces. It's amazing because, while it's so shell-like, it's also a series of petals, recessed & alive with your wonderful shading & those organic organisms that seem to be dancing all over it for the stars (the lighter almost-peach colored blobs—at top they look like joy spilling-over). And the edges are wonderfully articulate & the spaces around it dance to the same music, everything's connected. It's organic & rich; and the fact that you'd associate 'me' with it knocks me out. Thank you for your words and thank you for the image, it's my pleasure to care about artists: With art like this, how couldn't I? You made my day & night. Many blessings your way...m.
