the composition on this is both enclosed (cloistered) and spacious, a very nice combination of elements. Also, it has a mild overall hue about it, as if it were slightly from memory. Your sky feels diffuse, so it adds light but no detail, allowing the park to speak without interference; and it sheds a quiet wintry light over the whole. (Or a quiet diffuse light, if this was taken in another season!) It does feel abandoned, but it feels alive. And your capture feels closed and open. Very sensitive work, you got all those elements easefully and all at once. Not easy to do unless you're both experienced and fine at once...

A very pleasant courtyard. Architecturally it works quite well. You captured a scene that literally invites one into it. Excellent job, Richard!!!!!

this is a great shot of a really pretty spot. I like the soft lighting and the monotone colors. the hard surfaces that are shaped so gracefully add a real interesting view. the tiny white lights are a nice, pretty touch. good find!

Very pretty place, Richard. They had spaces like this in between buildings on Bourbon Street in New Orleans that they used for outdoor restaurants, very romantic atmosphere. Thanks for the memories this brought.

Wonderful and very well captured. It was a good idea: a lonely and empty space, become a interior garden.Great find.
