Description

I took a trip to my local home improvement super store yesterday in order to take pictures of boring things for a planned bathroom remodel. Yes yes, I did my job and got the pics. But then I treated myself to a bit of a photography binge. You won't believe some of the stuff I took pictures of! :) I sort of went nuts taking perspective shots of not-usually-photographed items, and I've been working up a few to show you. Maybe tomorrow ... In the meantime, this is one of my favorite subjects: glazed pottery in the garden department. * sigh * I just love the shapes and colors together, and there's such variety to be had rummaging around amongst the pots!

I'm joining Helle on the fav: This is a wonderful capture. I saw it a while ago with a fever, and my fever left me for an hour. You've got a small symphony in those wonderfully glassy dots, and your alignment, pov, and lighting are perfect. A wonderful shot, abstract as well as very concrete; and I could take this home and look at it for a long time. Bravo!
