Description

I know we've all been there when a companion dies, be it cat, dog, or something else. It twists the heart with sadness that sometimes lasts through the remainder of our lives. This is for all those whose souls have been touched by a gentle and loving friend.

You nailed the emotion in this one.. it really tugged at my heart! I know how it feels because I've been there with some of my pets, and will be again in the future with the ones (five dogs, 12 cats and three parrots) that I have now. Fortunately most of them are still young and I take great pains to protect each and every one from harm. They are truly part of my family and I love each and every one dearly! Thank you for posting such a beautiful and touching tribute to our four-legged friends!

A well crafted image that says it all. I lost my little cat Harvey last summer. She was 15, had a wonderful life and was much loved. Unfortunately I never got to hold her one last time because her passing wasn't a peaceful one. Great sentiment in this piece though . . . well done
