Description

Hi Everyone, No new photos to share- too many hours plowing snow off the roads. So, here is a photo I took with my wife's camera back in November. Just a jug I found on a walk in the woods. Thanks for looking. -GB-

It makes me think of maple syrup (which now comes in a plastic jug) but I don't see a single maple leaf on the ground, there. It's in amazing condition for being old. Especially since it's been covered with snow, a "few" times.

These crock jugs were often filled with hard cider...not sure other than molasses what was delivered in these in stores. This one is about a gallon size. I have two very small crock jugs marked mercury. Who knows how many years it has spent to the elements. Thanks for looking and the comments you leave. -GB-

I was told that NH has a tradition of "free traders", as they are called in Akwesasne, Possibly one of them lost that jug. Very romantic.
