....hrmfp... we all know one or seen em..
Something that's been stuck in my head for sometime now. Call it grumpy or whatever just how I feel sometimes..
No matter what you wear, do to your clothes,do to your hair, comp up with, work hours on designing and coding there is always that Ahole that comes along and steals it. No matter how hard we try to be different or original we truly never are ... sometimes I wonder why I even bother. Do you? =x
Thanks for looking and commenting if you have time, love to hear peoples take on things. Have a great weekend!

This image is amazing gurl! Don't take things to heart sweetie, think of it as an homage to you. YOU are the trendsetter. Sometimes people wear the same clothes, hair and make-up the same as you because they really like you and want to be more like you. Some of those people really don't mean any harm. Of course I always find the positive spin on things. I really shouldn't say anything being that I don't know the full story. Anywho, your characters are oh so beautiful. You know that I love all your work. I think I've told you a million times. You are a beautiful person. Don't let this trouble you. Hugz

Lovely image Adiene. Just be you and don't worry about those others. If they copy you it is actually a form of praise :)

Cute concept. Lovely babes. Great looking hair - that's probably why the one gal copied the other. At least she didn't go with the same hair color. :) As for copying... well, there are those out there who would rather go with what they think will 'sell' rather than to try for originality and their own unique concept. It's easier that way. Doesn't make it right though.

That is a really great expression, I think I will go do one just like it! har har jk, honestly I think most of us know exactly how you feel <3 (but that is a really great expression, really well done, in fact its quite realistic)

When that happens it is always best to consider it a form of flattery. Someone else enjoyed the look so much they wanted to have it too. Creative image & composition!

Love the image, the first girls expression says a LOT! I always thought that imitation is the most sincerest form of flattery - At least I hope that's still true! I hope that one day my work will be good enough for someone else to say "Hey, your work has inspired me...thanks" Or even better, that something about me has inspired them! That is different than stealing your work out right and claiming it as their own! I do however have a question; and please I'm not trying to make you mad, just curious... If no one had ever dyed their hair before, or pierced their bodies, would you have thought about doing it - if you hadn't seen something similar on someone else first?

actually I am big on not looking like anyone else. so if someone else has it then most likely no I will not do it exactly like them. I had piercings when piercing were not cool and I was content no matter who and how many people stared and turned their nose. Now I have taken all of them out almost completely, just because it is the "in" thing. I used to make my clothes because i refused to look like everyone else around me. I have NO problems with inspiration, it's the flat out copying the exact same thing and people claiming they did it first or it was their idea. This specially when I spend hours to days working on something just so they can make a cheap 10 min layer color adjustment and say they made it. That is what I have the issues with. Or someone making the same thing I have designed and made patterns from scratch. Same goes with people that never would have never dyed their hair unnatural colours before just doing it because it is in style. Why can't people just be themself and not struggle to try and be something they are not just because it is "cool" /boggle That is what bothers me and what i concider "copycatting" As said before the be inspired by someone else is one thing, to copy is another. If inspired you will take the concept and make it your own. Not copy, save image, and recolor .... =/

Your image is beautiful. The lighting and soft quality are both extremely appealing. It's great the way you achieved those wonderful shadows while producing a not-too-bright lighting; it perfectly emphasizes the details without creating harsh 'overexposure' effects. You must share that secret with me one day! :p I love the expressions, their styles, and the natural posing. Especially impressive are the hands, because I find it difficult to make hands emulate real-life poses. : Speaking of 'emulating'.... whistles.... I know how you feel. I created a leafy texture for one of my characters a couple years ago, and shortly afterwards, a batch of similar items followed suit. One product even followed the same seasonal theme of mine! The seasonal one was better than mine (LOL!!) -- and being a nobody, who's going to listen to me if I mention the ahem! -- "coincidence" anyway?? AnyHOO... sorry for the rambling. But your image was so pretty, I couldn't pass it by. And when I noticed the title and read your note, it gave me a venue to finally spew my venom about copycats. :) Keep doing what you do! Your works are beautiful!
