i like the concept and the composition but i feel it needs to be sharper to really have an impact.if you decrease the contrast and darken the saturation it would have more punch. good color scheme and shading.

I also like the concept, you've got a nice focal point and worked to thirds, which always gives nice composition, but something doesn't sit right with me... I think it's the flecks of colour in the background, i think that should be monochrome and the eye shape given a colour instead. But that's just me.
